Looks like a back rest for a chair/sofa or something. The other guess would be a door/cupboard/mirror panel.

This is not wood. Just realised. It's glass. it's that decorative glass between two rooms or a glass partition or something.

its the glass thingy above a door. like the semi circle.
After reading that clue my new guess is a coaster.
